For increasingly information on the municipality of Brewer cemeteries, click here.  Brewer Auditorium Complex:  The Brewer AuditoriumRamifiedis the focal point of polity worriedness as it consists of the polity center, Doyle Field,PolityPlayground, and Municipal Swimming Pool. Doyle Field is a 4 acre facility that provides a lighted football field and softball field. Stadium seating accommodates 1,500 for sturdy events and the site is moreover used extensively for sliding, skating and navigate country skiing during the winter months and for special events and day zany activities during the warm weather months. ThePolityPlayground, installed in June of 2001 and located proximal to the Brewer Auditorium, is handicap wieldy and can unbend up to 100 youngsters at a time. The Brewer Municipal Swimming Pool is one of the largest outdoor pools in Eastern Maine and is unshut for 10 weeks during the summer season. The pool is located between State and Wilson Streets and is completely handicap accessible. Parks staff will be making ice from 6 -9 AM when conditions permit. Capri Street School: This facility has a full size soccer field in wing to play structures. Eastern Park: Located on South Main Street, this 1.5 acre park has two playground sites, picnic tables, benches, and a scenic view of the Penobscot River. Fisherman’s Park/Scenic Turnouts: Located withal South Main Street overlooking the Penobscot River, these areas provide picnic tables, benches, and trappy views of the river. Fling Street Park: This quarter acre park is located on Fling Street and has been recently renovated to include new manufactured playground equipment. Indian Trail Park: This 4 acre park located in North Brewer, provides picnic tables, benches, scenic views of the Penobscot River and a sliding hill. A walking trail that overlooks the Penobscot runs withal the park and beyond, providing spanking-new views and a pleasant walking experience. Maple Street Park: This 6 acre park, once the site of a junkyard, has been transformed into a trappy neighborhood park. Located proximal to Maple Street, in South Brewer, the ramified features a 1/3 mile paved walking path, baseball field, soccer field, picnic tables and benches. School Street Park: This small pocket park, located off South Main Street next to the library, contains playground equipment for tots withal with a picnic table and shade trees. Sherwood Forest Park: Located off Friar Tuck Lane, this 10 acre wooded park has a newly synthetic loop trail for walking Sunset Park: This 2 acre park, located on Parkway South, contains two completely fenced in basketball courts that have been repaved, lined, and new backboards installed in 2016. Tennis Courts: Located at Brewer High School, four outdoor lighted tennis courts are misogynist for public use. Veteran’s Park: Completed in 1998, this park is located next to the Penobscot Bridge and provides spanking-new vistas of the river. It has a sheltered picnic table and benches.   Dougherty Recreation Complex: The former Washington Street School ramified has been renamed and has been renovated into a multi use recreational facility that features two new little league fields, a multipurpose sturdy field, 1/3 mile paved walking path, new playground, paved parking lot, and other amenities. The project now only needs a few minor landscaping improvements. Funding for this project has been made possible by Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems,Municipalityof Brewer, and a matching grant from the Land & Water Conservation Fund.
