As a Public Safety organization, we provide the weightier in emergency superintendency and operations to our citizens, but that is only a part of what we do. We moreover provide: Public Education in our schools, shrivel permits, non emergency transports for qualified patients, training for businesses and a host of other non-emergency services. The Brewer Fire Department has a long history of stuff there whenever and wherever we are needed. “Every Hour of Every Day” Our Vision It is the vision of the Brewer Fire Department to be known as a progressive and innovative Fire Department, providing the finest in fire, rescue and emergency medical services by utilizing the weightier personnel, training and equipment, creating a work environment that promotes the health and welfare of our members. Our Mission The mission of the Brewer Fire Department is to minimize the loss of life and property resulting from fire, medical and other emergencies through prevention, safety education, mitigation strategies, fire suppression and emergency medical services. We foster a transferral to excellence through professionalism, honesty and integrity. We are here to help – not judge. Public Education The pursuit services are offered through the Public Education Office. Juvenile Fire Setter Does your child have a fascination with fire? Have you unprotected him/her with matches or a lighter? Maybe they have plane started a fire in or virtually the home? Contrary to popular belief, this is not just boys stuff boys. Most fire setting policies has an underlying cause. Please contact the Public Education Officer for information well-nigh the Juvenile Fire Setter program. Fire Extinguisher Class Do you provide fire extinguishers throughout your merchantry and expect employees to use them? If so, OSHA 1910 requires that you provide training for your employees. Please contact the Public Education Officer for increasingly information. CPR and First Aid Certification We can provide your employees with CPR, first aid and AED training. Please contact us for increasingly information. Inspections The pursuit services are offered through the Fire Inspections Department. Chimney inspections Pellet stove inspections Help with smoke detector and CO detector locations for new and existing residential and suite buildings Knox Box Rapid Entry System information and locations Please contact the Inspection Division for increasingly information. We offer inspections of homes and businesses at no forfeit to anyone who resides or does merchantry in the City of Brewer. If you would like to schedule an inspection, please contact our Fire Inspector, Deputy Fire Chief Ralph Cammack, during regular merchantry hours. Tour the Public Safety Facility We are proud of our state-of-the-art Public Safety facility and love to show it off! If you or your societal group would like a tour of the facility, please contact us during regular merchantry hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to set up a tour.
